I came across the photos above and thought that they should provide some of you with ideas for designing your next tattoo.
I have to admit that the "Movie Theater Cinema Theme" tattoo is my favorite of all the ones posted in the gallery above. Which one is your favorite?
I'm an artist myself. I'm not a tattoo artist, but I do have an Associates Degree in Art. And I have a few tattoos on me from when I served in the United States Marine Corps. Anyways, I am a huge fan of tattoos. I believe in creativity and original artwork, especially when it comes to something like having ink permanently engraved on my body.
Of course, tattoos should hold a special certain meaning to the person that has them. Getting a tattoo just for the sake of having it, or maybe just because it's cool for whatever reason, then I would suggest reevaluating that thought process. That's just my opinion though. And I'm not judging by any means. All I'm saying is that I believe tattoos should have meaning or tell a story in some kind of way.
If you love popcorn and want to get a tattoo of some, or have some incorporated into a specific theme, then that's great.
Perhaps you lost a crazy bet and now your punishment is getting tatted. Not sure why anybody in their right mind would be willing to take on such a bet, but okay. Nothing wrong with having confidence. But it's also wise to make smart decisions by not being fueled by emotions, including those late night drinking party games.
Aside from the pics above, you and/or your tattoo artist can scour through real photos for inspiration to gather ideas for designing an original piece....
In case you aren't aware, there are many different styles of tattoos. Most artist specialize in just a few, or even with just one or two styles. So this is something that you should definitely research and look into prior to walking into and sitting down at just any old shop with neon lights flashing in the window telling you "Yes, We're Open, Come On In."
Some people prefer realistic
looking designs. This requires attention to detail and patience. So, and feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong, I
would have to assume that is would cost a little more, depending on how
great of an artist you select.
Others like the animated cartoonish look. So maybe the popped kernels could be like little characters with mean or happy faces. Maybe the container is a character.
Options also include either full color, or black and grey.
This is your chance to show off your body art with the rest of the world. Seriously. This popcorn website generates a ton of visitors every month. And there just so happens to be quite a few people searching for some nice looking tattoos.
Some folks are wanting to reference other tattoos to get some fresh ideas for their own tats. Other folks just look to find something to draw or design stuff from. And some people are just curious. Which one are you?
If you're a hot popcorn grubbing chick with some awesome popcorn tattoos, or a hard core popcorn guy with a bad ass piece, then don't hesitate a moment longer and shoot those in to us.
I only have a couple of very simple requests...
These are very important to me. Your photo and story should not already be published elsewhere on the internet. I will check whether or not it is.
So, go ahead and snap a couple photos of your popcorn ink and upload those pictures within the form below. Be sure to tell us a little bit of background about your tattoo also.
By the way, I might be picking out a couple of your pictures and posting them directly onto this page. That's more exposure for you. You'll get your own web page, plus your photo plastered right in front of everybody who visits this page. Besides that, all entries roll through my Blog too.
