When I hear the word "homestyle", it reminds of home cooked food, just like delicious meals that grandma would make.

And homestyle brings me back to when I was just a little kid visiting my grandmothers house. For instance, my aunts and uncles taught me how to make popcorn on the stovetop in a pot.

So, this should be interesting to see how this compares in taste...

Taste Testing The Act II Homestyle Popcorn

After microwaving the popcorn, I vented the bag open and away from myself to release the steam, then I poured some into a bowl.

I thought it looked a little plain at first site, thinking that I might want to season it up.

I tried a few and must say that I was a bit surprised. It has a really nice subtle butter flavor. I actually didn't have to season it all.

This new Homestyle flavored microwave popcorn tastes delicious! Just as I mentioned earlier, you get that old-fashioned stovetop popcorn flavor in every fluffy kernel.

I've made this numerous times now for myself and the family. Definitely has our vote.
